Partnering With You to Provide Better Hearing Health
As healthcare professionals, you understand how much hearing impacts a person’s quality of life, from social interactions to mental health and everyday safety. At our clinic, we work closely with GPs, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure your patients receive expert hearing care when they need it most.
We welcome referrals for a wide range of hearing-related concerns, and we aim to make the referral process straightforward, timely, and supportive for both you and your patient.
When to Refer a Patient to Us
Hearing loss can affect people of all ages, not just the elderly. Early identification and management of hearing issues can make a significant difference in your patient’s overall wellbeing. Here are some common signs and symptoms that may indicate the need for a referral to a hearing care specialist:
Hearing Loss Symptoms:
- Sudden hearing loss, especially if unexplained or only in one ear
- Difficulty understanding speech, particularly in noisy environments or group settings
- Asking people to repeat themselves often
- Avoiding social situations, due to embarrassment or frustration from not hearing well
- Turning up the volume on the TV, radio, or phone to uncomfortable levels
- Ringing or buzzing in the ears (Tinnitus)
Occupational & Lifestyle Risks:
- Working in noisy environments such as construction, manufacturing, music, or hospitality
- Extended headphone or earbud use for gaming, music, or streaming
- It has been over 12 months since their last hearing test, we recommend regular annual check-ups, especially for older adults or those at risk
If your patient presents with any of the above, a referral to our clinic can ensure prompt hearing testing, diagnosis, and personalised care.
Who We See
We provide hearing assessments and related services for a wide range of patients, including:

Hearing Services Program (HSP) Clients
We are accredited under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. Eligible patients, such as those with Pensioner Concession Cards or Department of Veterans’ Affairs cards, can access free or subsidised hearing assessments, hearing aids, and follow-up care.
Industrial Deafness Claims, iCare & WorkCover
We offer assessments for patients who may be eligible for workers compensation due to noise-induced hearing loss in the workplace. We can assist with:
- Hearing tests
- Medical reports
- Rehabilitation and hearing aid fittings once claims are approved

NDIS Participants
We support NDIS clients of all ages, including participants under 26 who need additional supports not covered by the HSP. We provide full documentation, quotes, and hearing care under NDIS plans.
Private Patients
Self-funded clients are also welcome. We provide affordable, high-quality hearing services for adults and children aged 5 years and older.

Pre-Employment Hearing Checks
We offer pre-employment hearing assessments for individuals entering industries where hearing health is critical. Reports can be provided for employers or recruitment processes as needed.
Ear Wax Removal Services
From September 2021, we have expanded our services to include professional ear wax removal using the microsuction method. This is a safe and effective procedure for patients with blocked ears, hearing loss caused by impacted wax, or those needing wax removal before a hearing test or hearing aid fitting.
You can refer your patients for wax removal alone or as part of a full hearing health check-up.
